These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RL HVAC website and services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
RL HVAC provides heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services including but not limited to: system assessments, installations, repairs, preventive maintenance, chiller system services, and energy efficiency evaluations for residential and commercial properties.
Our assessment service includes an on-site evaluation of your HVAC system(s) followed by a written report with findings and quoted recommendations. We aim to deliver assessment reports within 24 hours of completing the on-site evaluation. This is a service goal, not a guarantee — complex systems or unusual circumstances may require additional time. You will be notified if additional time is needed.
Written estimates are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue unless otherwise noted. Pricing is based on the scope of work described in the estimate. If additional work is discovered during a job, we will notify you and obtain approval before proceeding with any work beyond the original scope. All pricing is subject to change based on material costs and availability.
We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of service appointments. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a service call fee for future appointments.
RL HVAC warrants all labor performed for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion. Equipment warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are separate from our labor warranty. We will assist you with manufacturer warranty claims when applicable. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, acts of nature, or unauthorized modifications.
RL HVAC is a licensed contractor with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). We maintain general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage as required by California law. License and insurance information is available upon request.
When required by local building codes, RL HVAC will obtain necessary permits and schedule inspections for work performed. Permit fees are the responsibility of the property owner unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. All work is performed in compliance with applicable building codes and manufacturer specifications.
RL HVAC's liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or property damage not directly caused by our work.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Orange County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. California law governs these Terms.
